UEL Pop-up Skate

East London recently lit up with a fantastic pop-up skateboard event. The event was all about spreading the love for skateboarding at The University of East London. Exciting plans are in motion to create a cool undercover skate park, with full support from the North London Skate Club.

We were blown away by the turnout – it went way beyond our wildest dreams. Not only did people conquer tricks they’ve been struggling with, but it was heartwarming to witness newcomers take their first steps on a skateboard, with a few brave souls even trying out drop-ins.

The atmosphere was buzzing, and there were other awesome activities like parkour and ice skating happening alongside the skateboarding fun.

We’re super pumped about the future and plan to make events like this a regular thing. Who knows, we might just be nurturing the talents of future Olympic champions right here!
