13th July carve the bowl

Join Sophie in this amazing workshop to learn and explore new lines and maneuvers around the bowl, from learning how to find your first line, all the way to carving frontside, maybe fakie, and new areas in the bowl you would’ve never expected to skate before!
Coach Sophie has loads of experience in the bowl as it is one of her favorite things to skate in the skatepark

sun 23rd June - DAY TRIP- The XC Hemel
We had an absolute blast at the XC with 10 club members turning up for the event. We had a bit of a sketchy start (the taxi not showing up and having to book a last minute uber) - we were under way. Luckily we had allowed 30 mins faff time and arrived on time for the session’s start….

Cost £45…….. includes transport by coach. If you want to make your own way thats also possible and lots to explore nearby including Hemel Town Centre, Climbing & Ski Centers
In order for the trip to work we will need approximately 30 people to sign-up. Assuming we get enough interest we will hire a coach and transport everyone.
Pick up Camden 11am
Pick up Ally pally 11:30am
Arrive Hemel approx 1pm skate until 4pm and head home. Drop Ally pally 5:15pm and Camden 5:45pm.
We will provide supervision (but it is not a structured lesson - it is a social skate with coaches available to lend a helping hand if needed)

They were a roaring success. These trips are not lessons, they are meet-ups, just about fostering the club vibe. Its just getting all ages, genders and abilities together for a nice day out :-)

UEL Pop-up Skate
East London recently lit up with a fantastic pop-up skateboard event. The event was all about spreading the love for skateboarding at The University of East London. Exciting plans are in motion to create a cool undercover skate park, with full support from the North London Skate Club.
We were blown away by the turnout – it went way beyond our wildest dreams. Not only did people conquer tricks they’ve been struggling with, but it was heartwarming to witness newcomers take their first steps on a skateboard, with a few brave souls even trying out drop-ins.
The atmosphere was buzzing, and there were other awesome activities like parkour and ice skating happening alongside the skateboarding fun.
We’re super pumped about the future and plan to make events like this a regular thing. Who knows, we might just be nurturing the talents of future Olympic champions right here! We introduced over 160 kids to skateboarding. Thanks to the British Olympic Foundation , SkateboardGB and the University of East London (UEL) for the opportunity and making it such an amazing day UEL
NLSC Members Compete
This year we say several of our younger members compete in local Skate Competitions. It made us really proud to see that all their dedication paid off. Most importantly we were all there sending them good vibes and wishing them success.
